The cult of the Void consists of Kog'Maw, Malhazar, and Chogath, and Kha' zix They want to open the void up and unleash the horrors upon Runeterra, The guardians or preservers of Runeterra who seek to protect Runeterra from destroying itself consists mainly of Kassadin. Nasus and Kayle might be considered guardians since they fight for the same purpose though it's not been officially stated as of yet :(. Riot seems to like its bad guys more than its good, though who can blame them.
